What's the minimum account size?+
$25,000. Futures contracts require margin; below that minimum we can't configure a proper strategy basket without excessive risk per trade.
Do you take custody of my money?+
No. Ever. Your account is in your name, at your broker, funded by you. We send trade instructions through a read-execute API key that you control. We can't withdraw or transfer.
What if I want to stop?+
Disable the API key. Trades stop immediately. You keep your account and any open positions.
What markets do you trade?+
Futures. Indices (MES, MNQ), metals (MGC), energy (MCL), and crypto futures (MBT, MET). We focus on micro contracts for flexible position sizing.
How is this different from a managed futures fund?+
A managed futures fund takes custody of your capital and manages it in a pooled vehicle. With WSP, your account is yours — we just send signals. You keep control.
What returns should I expect?+
We don't promise returns. We show real live performance on the performance page. What the bots have done is public. What they'll do next is market-dependent.
Why are spots limited?+
Performance protection. Too many accounts running the same strategies at once creates slippage and fill problems. We cap it.
Is WSP Capital regulated?+
WSP Capital operates as a signal provider. We are not a registered investment advisor, not a fund, and not a CPO. You make the trading decisions — the algorithms execute in your account at your direction.
What broker do I need?+
Through Phase 1 (current): Any broker TradersPost supports. NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradeStation, and Tastytrade are the most common. Phase 2 adds direct integrations.
How long does setup take?+
Most clients go live within 24 hours of their broker account being funded. Broker account opening and funding is usually the longest step.
Can I run my own trades alongside?+
Yes. We recommend a dedicated account for the bots so their results are clean, but it's not required.
How much does it cost?+
Structure varies. Some clients pay a licensing fee, others month-to-month. We discuss specifics on the consultation — we want to make sure the economics make sense for your account size before quoting.
